Werewolf-like game, but this one is about choosing the next pope!
Every player has one or more specific secret missions. (Example: “you must be the third favorite OR player X must vote for you twice this game”)
Every round, you vote on who should be pope.
- If there’s a 2/3 majority, they are picked and the game ends.
- If not, the one with the fewest votes is now out of the running and we play the next round.
What does “out of the running” mean? They can’t become pope anymore, BUT they still continue playing, voting, etcetera as they may still win the game.
If this continues for a bit, you are guaranteed to pick a pope at some point.
There are special powers/actions called “sins”.
- You can “sin” to get that action, which yields information, makes your win condition easier, etcetera.
- But when you do so, your “holy/clean/pure cards” before you are replaced by that sin card.
- If someone accuses you of sinning, and you did, they are rewarded and you are punished ( = can never become pope anymore?)
