The idea of the game is that there are multiple layers stacked on top of each other. (Multiple pages/tiles stacked on top of one another, and you obviously all start at the top level/paper.)
- Each layer has a few spaces in which you can write stuff or take actions.
- As you progress, you are allowed to travel to lower layers, taking actions there.
- The first player to reach the exit at the lowest level wins.
Maybe one player is the “bad guy”. At the start, they hide some treasures and traps throughout the layers (without the others looking of course).
You can even make this 3D! Place some extra paper between the layers, or bend the outer parts, to create distance between them. The only problem: then you can see what’s on them and it’s a little unstable.
This idea is cool, but it will take some time to fully develop. Because stacking papers means you can only see a tiny part of the board at a time, which is mostly boring.
About the title: would like one similar to “Journey to the Center of the Earth”
