This idea was originally meant for my educational online store, Level 2, Topic Senses.
A world where you can achieve magic (see into other dimensions / some other cool or useful thing) if you “adjust your senses”.
Like how your eyes need to adjust for a minute before they can see much better in the dark.
In the same way, you might be able to “hear the voices of the dead” if your ears adjust to total silence for five minutes.
You might be able to see another location, if your eyes look into the far distance (or the exact distance needed) for an hour, etc.
You can achieve what you want, if you’re willing to put in the work/patience to “adjust your senses” to it in the right way. (They call it “attuning”.)
