Radio Towers

For the longest time, I’ve had this idea of creating a game around “triangulation”. That is,

  • All you do is place radio towers in a vast, randomly generated world.
  • These towers will light up / send a signal when monsters are close.
  • By paying close attention, you can figure out where monsters are. (By checking which towers light up in sequence or together.)

In other words, you are completely blind as to the actual map and what’s happening, but you can get all your info through those radio towers you placed.

Now, defend yourself, encircle enemies to defeat them, whatever.

Other possible rule = They can’t be too close to others. (This is just forbidden. OR you can move them later, but that will push around the others, repelling them.)
