Look Who Brought Snacks

A game where the computer is doing basic (work-related) actions. Your only job is being the person to grab snacks and give them to the computer characters :p

Input / Movement

Players automatically move left/right through the building.

By pressing your button, you take the elevator, whatever way it’s going right now.

You automatically deliver appropriate food if you have it and they want it.

Alternatively,

  • Multiple players combine into a “single player” (one controls left, one right, one food pick up)
  • Or it’s more of an “elevator game”: food is constantly going up/down the building in conveyor belt-like elevators, and you just have to grab the right things at the right time.

Map

Probably best as a side-view platformer type thing.

You are inside a building. The other people are having important meetings, doing work, etcetera. You were assigned snack duty.

I’m in doubt whether this should be a big office. Or a cute, small country house with a more informal setting. Maybe both, through different levels.

So you have to jump around, restock the fridge, grab snacks, and deliver them to people doing hard work or being in important meetings.

Specific Rules

People can have two states:

  • Energy being depleted => deliver a snack full of energy in time
  • Bored/sleepy => deliver a spicy snack
  • Angry/irritated => deliver a nutritional snack

As time changes, your snacks must change. Breakfast food in the morning, lunch in the afternoon, warm dinner in the evening.

The temperature also means something later on? (Hot = give ice and cold foods, Cold = give tea and warm foods.) Can be different per room?

Story?

The amazing company “Smart Ideas” needed more employees. You signed up. But you had no credentials or experience. Still, you got the job. You were so excited. Over the moon. Until it turned out … you were merely assigned snack duty.
