A simple “Crossy Road” clone, but now you can play it with 1-4 players on one smartphone.
And of course, I can introduce some extra elements.
- I can make the world circular/bigger. (So a train that goes by, will return a few seconds later on the other side, giving some extra permanence.)
- I can either give everyone ONE button for controlling the main character … or everyone gets their OWN character.
- When playing with own characters, they really need to be in quite different habitats, so they have different challenges. Also you must be able to help one another.
- When ONE of the players dies, you lose the game. However, you can collect hearts along the way, which immediately revive such a player.
- (Why? Because it’s frustrating if your group is only as good as the worst player. By giving you hearts, you have a way to battle this … if you play well.)
