This is a Peerful game. Everyone connects with their phone to a main screen, and plays on their own phone.
You’re running a post office. Packages are arriving left and right on conveyor belts.
They need to go through the right machines, get the right stamps, be sorted, and be put in the right boxes before their timer runs out. (Or they land in the bin automatically?)
Perhaps even allow shooting/throwing packages and letters across the work floor.
The advantage of a Peerful game is that …
- Players can get individual buttons and actions on their phone screen.
- For example, standing in front of a specific machine, they get different options to press in their interface.
- Or, holding a package, your own phone screen can show the package’s details (destination, weight, size, etcetera) clearly.
- The main screen can remain uncluttered and simple, because the other players don’t need to see the options you have. You just need to cooperate on the main screen and complete the level.
One might even split the post office into two separate parts, or split players into two distinct roles.
For example,
- One part might be the people who prepare it (they get their own screen/tools/interface)
- The other part might be the people who deliver it (who also get their own stuff).
