The general vibe is that of “explorer” or “treasure hunter”.
The map is a random set of obstacles and dangers between you and your goal.
You just need to find the fastest way (in which you don’t die) to that goal.
Would probably require a few general (but distinct) systems.
- To pass monsters, you need to collect enough swords
- To survive in hostile biomes, you need to collect enough food/water
- To pass obstacles, you need to destroy them, go around them, jump over them
In other words, it’s a puzzle game with one perfect/exact solution, which is the only path through a jungle/temple/island that makes you avoid all traps and reach the treasure you’re looking for.
